Racha Fadlallah
Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the American University of Beirut
Chief Scientific Officer at the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center (a WHO Collaborating Center for Evidence-Informed Policy and Practice), Co-Founder of the Center for Systematic Reviews on Health Policy and Systems Research (SPARK), and Instructor of Public Health Practice at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She serves on the Board of Health Systems Global (HSG) and the WHO EVIPNet Steering Group. Her work focuses on health policy and systems research, evidence synthesis, priority setting, knowledge translation, and evidence-informed policymaking.
Daniela Garcia Villamil
Independent Consultant
Daniela is an international lawyer specializing in participatory action research, collaborative learning, and knowledge mobilization. She has worked across academic, grassroots, and international initiatives to strengthen research practices and inform evidence-based policy. By centering local voices and improving how knowledge is generated, managed, used, and shared, she seeks to advance peacebuilding, strengthen global governance, and ultimately contribute to sustainable, equitable futures.
Frederik Dejonghe
Associate Researcher, Insper
Consultant in public policy evaluation and MEL frameworks for organizations such as UNOPS, WHO, IDB, and the UN Global Compact. Has worked with municipal governments and led initiatives such as the Brazilian Coalition for Evidence and the Evidence Hub of Latin America and the Caribbean. Master’s degree in Public Policy Management from Insper.
Firmaye Bogale
Researcher, Ethiopia
Over a decade of experience in public health, spanning clinical care, research, evidence synthesis and knowledge translation. Leads initiatives that translate evidence into action and advance evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) across Africa and Ethiopia. Collaborates with national, regional, and international organizations, and is the 2024 Africa Evidence Leadership Award recipient, passionate about strengthening evidence use in policymaking.
Josephine Watera
Assistant Director, Research Services
Dr. Josephine Watera is a credentialed evaluator with 18 years of experience in bridging research and policy through generating, synthesising and brokering evidence for impactful decision-making. She serves as Assistant Director, Research Services, at the Parliament of Uganda and President of the Uganda Evaluation Association. A former board member of the International Development Evaluation Association and recipient of the African Evidence Leadership Award 2023, she inspires collaboration and learning across Africa. Josephine is a PhD graduate in Programme Evaluation from the University of Cape Town.
