HPV CHANGELOG

Version 4.0

Published 21 October 2026

We are pleased to announce the publication of Version 4.0 of the Living HPV Vaccine Delivery Evidence Repository.

This version combines updated evidence with improvements to data quality and repository functionality. It includes:

  • Bibliographic records of research articles and grey literature in English and French published between 1st January 2000 – 1st September 2026.
  • Updated search strings to include new databases.
  • De-duplication of repository records.
  • Feature updates and improvements in response to user feedback:
    • RIS and reference list exports: Users can download a reference list and RIS file to share citations with colleagues or import into tools like Zotero or EndNote.
    • Session times: Increased session length so users do not need to log in as much
    • Select references: Users can choose to select all or select individual references to export or AI summarise.
    • Added definitions to evidence map cell headers: To easily view a definition of a row or column, users can now hover over the cell header.
    • AI summary upgrades: AI summaries now include reference lists and can be downloaded.
    • Reference count updated: Updated the count of references in the top left of evidence maps to be the number of unique references included in the map. Previously it was a count of the number of references in the search.
    • Behavioural tracking: Added anonymised behavioural tracking onsite to track what features are being used. From September we will be tracking what searches are being performed.
    • Facet count alignment: Updated filter facet counts to match the count of unique references displayed in the evidence map.
    • Persistent filter links: Shared or bookmarked evidence map URLs now retain all applied filters when opened.
    • Search bar hints: Added a search bar hint on hover/click to clarify supported search capabilities, including Boolean operators.
    • Evidence map disclaimer: Added a dismissible notice explaining why certain references do not appear on the evidence map.
    • Evidence map cell size control: Added a control allowing users to adjust cell size to fit the full map onto a single screen.

Further details are available in the updated Living HPV Vaccine Delivery Evidence Repository, Version 4.0 Protocol and Version 4.0 Report.
